Ripple Targets $3, New DeFi Coin Steals The Spotlight From Cardano

Last Updated: May 2, 2025By

According to SolbergInvest, the Ripple price could rise to $3.20-$3.39 in the coming weeks if buying momentum increases. Meanwhile, a new DeFi coin is making waves in the crypto space. Called DTX Exchange (DTX), it is currently in the presale stage and has raised over $16.1 million in funding.

Those who joined the presale at the initial stage have seen their portfolios’ worth increase by 800%. The DTX token price is expected to rally by 10x in the months ahead, making it a good crypto to buy.

Ripple (XRP) Predicted To Soar To $3

After meeting with resistance at $2.45, the Ripple price has dropped to the lower part of the $2 range. CoinMarketCap data indicates the Ripple price has been trading at this level in the past week. Meanwhile, bulls are trying to force a Ripple price rally evidenced by the 2.1% price increase on the weekly timeframe.

Unfortunately, selling pressure has kept the Ripple price below the $3 mark. Going forward, SolbergInvest notes the Ripple price is trading inside a falling wedge. The analyst argued that a breakout could cause the Ripple price to soar to $3.20-$3.39 in the short term.

On the other hand, a downtrend might pull the Ripple price to test the $1.70 support. Ali Martinez, another analyst, predicts the Ripple price could drop to $1.60 if it falls below $2 and there is no support to hold it. In other news, the US SEC is still silent about Ripple ETF approval.

Cardano (ADA) Eyes Potential Price Pump To $0.8

AMCryptoAlex, an analyst, in a recent tweet, argued that the Cardano price is slowly trying to kickstart an uptrend. Most of the top altcoins have given back their gains after the Trump Digital Asset Stockpile announcement, but the Cardano price has remained resilient.

He regards this as a signal that holders do not want to sell their ADA coins and expects an upsurge to occur. Accompanying AMCryptoAlex’s tweet is a Cardano price chart which showed ADA trading inside a triangular pattern. The analyst forecasts the Cardano price might pump to $0.81 in the next few weeks if selling pressure rises.

Another expert called LaCryptolycus notes that there is a potential double bottom pattern on the Cardano price chart. They believe the Cardano price might pump to $1 if it holds support levels around $0.7. Currently, the Cardano price has plunged by 3.3% in the weekly chart and 10.1% in the monthly timeframe.

DTX Exchange (DTX) Set To Outshine Cardano

While the Ripple price struggles to reclaim $3, a new DeFi entrant is putting the heat on Cardano. DTX Exchange (DTX) is a unique trading platform that combines DeFi and traditional financial instruments to provide users with an engaging and versatile trading environment. The platform offers non-custodial storage that can be seen as an advantage over both centralized exchanges.

DTX Exchange provides clients with an opportunity to trade more than 120,000 financial instruments, including cryptocurrencies, stocks, ETFs, and forex for both traditional and digital assets. It also has complex trading tools for efficient trading.

The foundation of DTX Exchange is the VulcanX, a Layer-1 blockchain that has the capability of handling over 200,000 TPS for efficient trading. Since its presale, the platform has grown tremendously and has been able to attract over 700,000 traders. As a cutting-edge trading platform that combines DeFi with traditional finance, DTX Exchange could be a pioneer in the trading industry.

Can This DeFi Crypto Outshine Cardano?

While the Ripple price could surge to $3, Cardano is facing growing competition from newcomers like DTX Exchange. Although it is a new DeFi project, it has over 700k users. With its hybrid features and low market cap, the value of DTX Exchange could rise by 10x in the months ahead.
