WHO Expedites to Battle Coronavirus With Launch of its Blockchain Platform!
As the coronavirus epidemic has expanded all across the world and contaminated over 7, 87,000 and killed more than 37,000 people, World Health Organization has determined to launch its blockchain-based platform for global information and monitoring of the COVID-19 pandemic.
IBM and Oracle are entrusted with the obligation of producing a coronavirus data hub for WHO blockchain. The WHO blockchain platform will take up the reliability of checking the legitimacy of the data linked to the COVID-19 pandemic. The World Health Organization has emerged as a specialized agency of the United Nations. It bears responsibility for world public health.
According to reports, the WHO has signed an alliance with Oracle, Hacera, IBM, and Microsoft to create its independent coronavirus pandemic data-sharing platform. The initiative will be recognized as MiPasa that will depend on Hyperledger Fabric. The platform is likely to assist in diagnosing those who got infected with COVID-19 promptly.
Reports recommend that MiPasa attempts to aid the sharing of private details in public officials, people, and health institutions. The platform is possible to appear as some “information highway” wherein the data about individuals infected with lethal coronavirus will immediately be exchanged with the fundamental organizations.
While the project website has already affirmed that the personal data of each infected individual will remain completely confidential, the project website stated, “MiPasa can help monitor and foresee local and global epidemiological trends and detect likely asymptomatic carriers by feeding big data on infection routes and occurrences to powerful AI processors around the world.”
Several leading national health institutions are preparing to contribute to the project that may involve the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the USA, Europe, China, and the Hong Kong Department of Health, Canadian Government, and National Health Commission of China. To keep yourself safe, it has become necessary to stay at home, maintain comprehensive social distancing, and venture out only in an emergency. These steps will prove extremely useful in your battle against the spread of coronavirus.
