The CEO of MicroStrategy, which has made significant Bitcoin investments, is Michael Saylor. The first Bitcoin billionaires, Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss are said to own roughly 70,000 coins. Tesla, owned by Elon Musk, spent $1.5 billion on Bitcoin in 2021. Galaxy Digital Holdings is a broker-dealer, cryptocurrency, and digital asset management company that Michael Novogratz created.

The creator and CEO of the Digital Currency Group is Barry Silbert. The organization hopes to hasten the development of the world’s financial system by creating and assisting blockchain and bitcoin-related businesses. The Digital Currency Group has invested in 166 firms involved with cryptocurrencies and blockchains.

Other Bitcoin trader portfolio firms include Genesis, a liquidity provider for cryptocurrency buyers and sellers in the over-the-counter market—an organization that funds a pool with digital currency. The Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), an investment vehicle that held $14.4 billion in bitcoin as of July 22, 2022, and provided investors with exposure to its price fluctuation, is managed by Grayscale Investments, which is another company owned by Digital Currency Group.

2. Michael Saylor 

Michael Saylor, co-founder and CEO of the business analytics company MicroStrategy considers cryptocurrencies to be a significant upcoming investment. In July 2022, MicroStrategy bought 400 bitcoins for nearly $10 million, increasing its bitcoin holdings. The business holds 129,699 bitcoins in total making them a top bitcoin trader.

3. Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss

The privately held Gemini exchange is one of many blockchain-related companies in which Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss have invested. According to Forbes, they are thought to be the first Bitcoin investors to become billionaires, with estimated ownership of 70,000 coins.

The brothers are substantially invested in Ethereum in addition to bitcoin, though they haven’t disclosed their exact holdings.

4. Elon Musk

Tesla’s CEO and co-founder are Elon Musk. Tesla designs and manufactures clean energy and electric vehicle products. It should be no surprise that a cutting-edge tech business like Tesla would possess cryptocurrency; to start taking bitcoin as payment in 2021, Tesla spent $1.5 billion on the cryptocurrency.

Michael Novogratz, a former hedge fund manager at Fortress Investment Group and partner at Goldman Sachs, and now a prevalent Bitcoin Trader. He frequently discussed the price movement of bitcoin. He is the broker-creator, dealer’s CEO, and chair of Galaxy Digital Holdings, which provides a wide range of asset services relating to blockchain technology.

Galaxy Digital, specializing in digital assets, spent $62 million on non-fungible token (NFT)-related businesses in the third quarter of 2021. NFTs are digital assets that employ blockchain technology for ownership verification and security. After digital art protected by NFT technology started fetching millions of dollars in 2021, it gained popularity.

In its first-quarter financial report, Galaxy states that it has $2.2 billion in “unrestricted” cryptocurrencies, of which $257 million is kept in managed funds. By the time the company releases its first-quarter report in 2022, it’s projected to have about $257 million in bitcoin.
