Salesforce Combines Lition’s Blockchain into its CRM Platform!
Popular CRM (customer relationship management) company Salesforce has onboarded the commercial blockchain technology from Lition.
In an official statement from Lition, the blockchain company states that the development will extend access to the Lition blockchain, leveraging on Salesforce’s status as the most successful CRM platform in the globe.
What Lition’s Blockchain Tech Can Offer to Salesforce
Salesforce will now provide access to the Lition tech through its cloud system. Encouraging transparency, the app will permit Salesforce consumers regardless of their size, to record and retain information securely. Salesforce has more than 150,000 consumers, including vast Fortune 500 firms.
Lition has appended that the first stage of the inclusion between the two firms is comprehensive and will also be relocated with Lition’s mainnet soon. At the time, the team is operating on code updates for both the testnet and mainnet.
Lition states that the Salesforce framework has assisted various firms globally. With this combination, Salesforce will be capable of doing more, while assuring strict compliance with safety and privacy laws. The announcement states:
“Salesforce’s architecture is crucial to the operations of businesses worldwide. Yet, building a dependency upon data that is completely centralized creates operational risks. Extracting that data is not always guaranteed. A GDPR compliant Blockchain is a great way to decentralize some of that dependency.”
Other Salesforce Efforts
Back in February, Salesforce earned cloud and mobile software company Vlocity, in a $1.33 billion deal. Interestingly, Vlocity created its platform on Salesforce, apparently making the acquisition much more comfortable. It gives CRM proposals in extension to Salesforce’s, for six different industries. These involve health, energy and utilities, media and entertainment, communications, insurance, and financial services, and government and nonprofits. At the time, Salesforce stated it was operating individually on implementing industry-specific solutions, which probably encouraged the acquisition.
Salesforce’s determination to onboard Lition enables the company to give advantages of the latter’s blockchain technology to all of its offerings from now on.
The company created a new content management system (CMS) last year to ensure interoperability with other platforms. A Salesforce vice president, Anna Rosenman at the time, defined it as a hybrid CMS which ensures consumers the native system. Rosenman replied that the platform still offers consumers with enough flexibility to enable smooth combination with third-party platforms. Also, Salesforce generated the platform itself and did not have to outsource or make any acquisitions.
Established in 1999 by Marc Benioff, Parker Harris, Dave Moellenhoff, and Frank Dominguez, Salesforce has grown through the ranks to instantly become one of the most prized American cloud computing companies.
