Named “Harmony,” this cutting-edge tool offers continuous monitoring of web states, encompassing DNS records and scripts of crypto websites, to detect unauthorized alterations in real-time. This proactive approach aims to protect crypto investors from early-stage CDN hijackings and DNS manipulations, common tactics used by cybercriminals to create fraudulent websites and harvest sensitive information.

Charles Dray, CEO of Resonance Security, emphasized the importance of this solution in safeguarding digital assets from black-hat hacking groups. “Our objective is to align organizational cybersecurity strategies with the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats,” Dray stated.

DNS hijacking has surged as a preferred method among cyber adversaries. Although the precise scope of these breaches remains unclear, experts suspect that around 11 platforms, including Pendle Finance, Polymarket, and THORChain, might still be at risk.

A researcher from Paradigm, known as “samczsun,” suggested that these breaches likely stemmed from compromised Google Domains accounts linked to the affected protocols. Notably, Squarespace acquired Google Domains in a $180 million deal last year.

Resonance Security’s Harmony employs artificial intelligence to analyze results and filter out false positives, significantly reducing the research time for both customers and Resonance’s incident response team.
