Part 3: Women In Web3 Leading The Tech Industry
The women in Web3 are not only precursors in this rapidly developing technology sector, but they also succeed there despite significant entry barriers and a male-dominated environment. Although women make up a tiny percentage of Web3’s leaders and creators.
Lana Hopkins and Juliana DiSimone
They are the co-founders and friends of someplace, a Web3 company that is revolutionizing how they experience and inhabit the digital world. They are developing a social platform that facilitates the development of international relationships and friendships and the expansion of the community. They are designed specifically for mobile, placing everything in the palm of your hand and allowing you to combine your digital and real-world experiences. Lana is the co-founder and chief executive officer of a consumer technology firm specializing in expanding technical user experiences to a broad audience. Juliana has experience in design, fashion, and brand building; she built and successfully positioned the lifestyle brand TokyoBike in the Americas. Web3 may help women who get less than 2% of average VC investments become less dependent on VC funding and carve their paths. It expands their horizons beyond their physical area, and the possibilities become unlimited via social and network connections with like-minded individuals. They are a power pack team of women in Web3 world.
Nicole Behnam

As an avid gamer, she discovered she cared as much about her digital identity (avatar) and appearance as she did about her physical identity. She is a passionate believer in the ability of digital fashion to revolutionize the traditional fashion environment by creating empowering, sustainable, and always innovative products. She had two successful exits as a serial entrepreneur. Her organization, Blueberry Entertainment, Inc., is now embellishing the metaverse. Before joining Blueberry, she was a senior executive at multiple digital media and gaming companies. She oversaw marketing efforts for Peanut Labs (till 2010) and Xuqa (exit in 2006). She co-founded 1336 Studios in 2018, a sports-focused multiplayer game developer, where she now serves as chairperson.
Born in Turkey, she has always been a metaverse aficionado and prolific digital artist, with over 300,000 followers for her digital design work on networks such as Flickr.
Regina Turbina
Designer of both digital and physical apparel, native to cryptography and web3 fashion, she is a significant role model as a woman in Web3. She started dabbling as a hobby in 2019 after falling in love with designing and trying on fantastic digital clothing.
This hobby evolved into a website and a creative centre named ARTISANS in 2021. It was the first digital marketplace replication in 2020. They are now a community of over 12,000 designers, traditional companies, and artists connected by crypto fashion. They designed wearable NFT drops in partnership with PUMA and Ready Player One and continue to push web3 and digital fashion ideas as much as possible. By trade, she is a fashion designer. Before discovering the marvel of web3, she founded a tiny physical firm, experimented with digital fashion for herself, and established the first digital fashion marketplace. The Web3 community is quite hospitable. She sees many brilliant female artists and designers developing in the web3 space and encourages this influx via education, seminars, free minting contests, and their network. The same may be said for digital techniques. Without depending on standard web2 centralized platforms and mentalities, it is the best place to speak up, voice your thoughts, display your artwork, be recognized, and get appropriate compensation.
