Part 2: Women In Web3 Leading The Tech Industry
Part 2 about the women in Web3 are not only constructing and innovating in this new technical environment but also doing it in a male-dominated and tricky business. Women are underrepresented among Web3’s founders and industry leaders at present.
BRITTANY KAISER
Brittany Kaiser is an internationally recognized entrepreneur, activist, and specialist in data security, technological innovation, and legislative change. She is the primary protagonist in the Netflix documentary The Great Hack and the Cambridge Analytica whistleblower. She is a co-founder of the Own Your Data Foundation, which promotes the reclaiming of personal data by individuals. She is also the Co-Founder of the Digital Asset Trade Association (DATA), where she contributes to establishing legislation that safeguards individuals’ digital rights and offers legal guidelines for the use of digital assets and blockchain technology. She is the subject of the documentary, The Great Hack.
MELANIE PLAZA
She is the Chief Technology Officer of AE Firm, a design, development, and data science company based in Los Angeles. Their key goal is to expand their agency’s technological capabilities; consequently, we use blockchain and BCI for various intriguing applications. In addition to working with customers and building our products, she is also the Lead Runner at Token Runners. This white-label NFT marketplace lets anybody perform their own branded and customized drops. She had a revelation when she realized that blockchain technology delivers true decentralization, immutability, and trustlessness in a manner that is impossible with traditional technologies.

And the many forms of outcomes are explorable when these traits are present in a system. She believes blockchain technology will play a significant role in the future even though, like other new technologies, it still has development potential and volatile cryptocurrency values. People often respond emotionally to web3 rather than considering its numerous components logically.
This, combined with the prospect of an initially high learning curve, excludes a significant number of competent candidates. However, if you can transcend all of that and identify parts of it that you are enthusiastic about, you will have a fantastic chance to guide something that will play a crucial role in future development.
AMBER WARD
Amber has managed global consumer campaigns in her position as co-founder and chief creative officer of Invisible North. She manages and executes high-level campaigns for various companies, including FTX, Coinbase, Klarna, Ledger, Netflix, Amazon, and Apple.
Amber, born in Sydney, Australia, moved to New York City in 2009 and had creative production roles until 2013 when she created Invisible North. Over seventy skilled strategists, creatives, and producers working at the nexus of strategy, culture, and design were her responsibility at Invisible North. Web3 is a brand-new frontier; hence, it allows us to establish ourselves and make our mark in an immature area. Women have not yet taken advantage of all the opportunities to develop themselves as driving forces. The liberation of women in Web3 is a topic that intrigues her. It has always been a top focus for Invisible North, a company controlled by women, to attract prominent women at all levels, to provide a place for female executives, and to train newcomers. Established this goal many years ago. People’s eagerness and enthusiasm for discussing Web3 is one of its greatest attributes. There is an unquenchable fire and a desire to expand the community in the area, and everyone is still acquiring an education.
