Over 4000 blockchain and crypto pioneers, industry experts, politicians, IT executives, investors, solution providers, and start-ups attended the summit on March 23 and 24, 2022, which was led by Dubai’s ambition to increase blockchain and crypto-related investment in the UAE.

Frederik Gregaard (CEO, Cardano Foundation), Faryar Shirzad (Chief Policy Officer, Coinbase), Alex Mashinsky (Founder & CEO, Celsius Network), Furqan Rassul (CEO, Elite Partner Investment), Navin Gupta (Managing Director, South Asia & MENA, Ripple), Sumit Ghosh (CEO & Co-Founder, Chingari App), and the Honourable Rosie Rios (Senator)

At the World Blockchain Summit Dubai, Furqan Rassul stated, “The United Arab Emirates’ efforts to establish its blockchain ecosystem and eventually become a global blockchain centre have been defined by the adoption of initiatives and laws that maintain the momentum of this rapidly developing sector.”

Frederik Gregaard addressed delegates on the progress of the Cardano Foundation during the conference. While addressing the gathering, he said, “Blockchain is now officially open for business.” This marvelous technology is now sophisticated enough to be used offline in addition to non-fungible tokens and digital assets.

Samir Satchu, Senior VP- Public Policy & Expansion at BitOasis, Pavel Aramyan, Product Manager at Fasttoken, Igneus Terrenus, Head of Communications at Bybit, Stanislav Novikov, CEO at Passenger, Kaylee Bushell, Chief of Staff at Decentology, and Jens Podewski, Co-Founder & CEO at FinXP, were among the speakers at WBS.

UAE is often regarded as a technical innovation hotspot. At the World Blockchain Summit, which WBS was privileged to organize on behalf of Pegasus Tech Ventures’ Startup World Cup regionals, twenty entrepreneurs were given a chance to exhibit their cutting-edge technologies and services to a global audience of investors.

THOR Wallet DEX, a supplier of non-custodial wallet services, has been chosen to exhibit at the 2022 Startup World Cup in San Francisco. They will have the chance to network with other entrepreneurs and investors in the Startup World Cup Grand Finale, where they will compete for an investment award of $1 million.

As part of the summit, an Investor Gala Dinner was hosted on March 22, 2022, and an afterparty was held on March 23, 2022.
