Core Scientific Launches Hosting Facility With The Help Of Blockchain
Famous Artificial Intelligence and blockchain firm, Core Scientific, has launched a world-class blockchain hosting facility in Calvert City, Kentucky. As per a press release by the company on November 12, 2019, the new facility will develop a lot of high-technology and construction jobs for the masses. ‘Core Scientific’ is developing it from an old steel mill that was obsolete in 2016.
Thermodynamically constructed for efficiency and temperature control, it recently houses over 30MW of blockchain servers, with 125MW of readily-available power. It is vital to note that 1MW is more than sufficient to power a thousand times. So 125MW would be able to power an entire city conveniently. ‘Core Scientific’ is, however, providing electricity to miners, especially Ethereum mining GPUs.
