Saylor’s net Worth has risen to $2.3 billion due to his early acquisition of Bitcoin, which increased the value of his and his company’s shares. During MicroStrategy’s quarterly earnings conference call in July 2020, Saylor declared his intention to purchase Bitcoin, gold, or other alternative assets instead of cash. The following month, MicroStrategy spent $250 million of its cash reserve to buy 21,454 Bitcoins.
