Cere Network & Polygon launched the NFT Content Monetization Platform

Last Updated: February 15, 2022By

Cere’s decentralized data cloud (DDC) platform and the proof-of-stake blockchain network Polygon are used to create the platform, touted as an “all-in-one Web3 media platform.”

Cere Network has launched a Web3 media platform that is all-in-one. Non-fungible token (NFT) media, built on Polygon, has become a significant deal and a billion-dollar sector in recent years. However, the sector has become engulfed in controversy, ranging from intellectual property and copyrights to difficulties like immutability.

In March 2021, there was a raging dispute about the immutability of NFT technology. NFT material that isn’t kept properly, according to Fred Jin, co-founder of Cere Network, is a problem.

“Most NFT content is not stored securely on the blockchain,” Jin commented in a statement during the Davinci unveiling. “This is an issue since your NFT’s information, and related value might be lost. The Davinci platform solves this problem via Cere DDC’s secure decentralized content delivery innovations.” The Cere Network exec appended breaking new ground here, both for the entertainment industry and consumer enterprises, through a new standard for decentralizing data/content along with the Polygon team.”

The NFTs on Davinci’s Platform is still linked to the original creator.

The NFT immutability controversy and now emerging security: Have they learned their lesson?

Meanwhile, since the NFT immutability controversy last year, various means of protecting NFTs have emerged, such as using IPFS2Arweave.com, which is based on the Arweave blockchain project. NFT royalties generated using Davinci, according to the Cere Network team, will be tied to the content authors.

“Uniquely, each NFT created on Davinci’s platform will remain linked to the original creator through the use of smart contracts that guarantee a share of the royalties from any sale and establish a way for the continuous delivery of exclusive new content,” the Cere Network team’s declaration noted.

Sandeep Nailwal, a co-founder of Polygon, believes the NFT ecosystem is only getting started and that the Davinci Web3 application created by Polygon and DDC would help the sector flourish.

“There is so much more that artists and fans can accomplish and access through Davinci that realizes more of the blockchain potential to the mainstream consumers,” Nailwal opined. “Artists, performers, and brands get more revenue from their unique content, while fans get better experiences and secure delivery of their assets.”
