The tech giant Google cloud wing is reportedly partnering with a blockchain platform, Cypherium.   

In a press release posted on Cointelegraph, Cypherium announced that it is going to partner with Google cloud. The release gave details about the product, called Cypherium Enterprise, which is an enterprise-focused blockchain network platform which aims to follow decentralization and scalability. Google Cloud customers will now be able to access Cypherium’s blockchain solutions, due to this partnership. 

According to the press release, Cypherium will reportedly offer an enterprise blockchain which will allow thousands of transactions every second, and provide interoperability and blockchain confidentiality. 

Sky Guo, the CEO of Cypherium said:  

“We’re delighted to be collaborating with Google Cloud to provide enterprises with a full-stack solution to harness the potential of this paradigm-shifting technology. The growing demand in the market for DLT solutions in the financial industry and beyond drives our commitment to this collaboration.”

Per its website, Cypherium supposedly uses a Turing-complete virtual machine written in Java language to manage the smart contracts. Since java is widely used, applying this language for its smart contracts increases the possibility of blockchain adoption.   

According to the release on Cointelegraph, Cypherium has also collaborated with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the IBM Cloud. 

Google Cloud and Qtum

Google Cloud has purportedly added Qtum, a blockchain network platform, to its many software partners. It focuses on decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts and also has a set of developer-based tools which is supplied on the Google Cloud. These offerings comprise of tools for forking and staking in Qtum, support for releasing a full node, as well as DApp dev tools.

As per the announcement, Google Cloud will update Qtum source code on its own for all of its developers: 

“When the Qtum source code is updated, Google Cloud will automatically update the code everywhere, saving developers the need to manually re-download in order to remain on the latest version.”
