12 Instances When NFTs Truly Changed Lives For Working Class

Last Updated: January 23, 2023By

With the market exploding since the start of the year, NFTs truly changed lives profoundly. Transformed by the resurrection of this previously highly narrow industry.

Many of us in the non-fungible ecosystem have done things we never imagined imaginable, such as making life-changing money by trading crypto and NFTs, quitting our day jobs to construct the metaverse, and establishing lasting friends online. To commemorate our gratitude for NFTs, we’re taking a look at 12 times NFTs truly changed lives.

Loopify

Many people consider Loopify to be one of the most powerful and charitable influencers in all of NFTs. In just over a year, he has launched many ventures, pushed the boundaries in NFT gaming, and raked in millions through NFT sales and top-tier trades while starting out as an artist and NFT blogger.

Claire Silver is a well-known actress.

Silver is an NFT influencer and a well-known AI collaborative artist. She was a wonderful ray of sunshine in the community, minting and selling NFTs for months and making enough money to help her family in important ways.

KJ

NFTs Truly Changed Lives if you’re at the right place at the right time, which is what happened to KJ. KJ obtained an unrevealed Doodle via secondary sale after the initial Doodles mint, which turned out to be the 1/1 original Doodle. Doodles co-creator Even Keast personally put in a 100 ETH bid to buy back the NFT because it was used as the project’s logo, and the rest is history.

Daggerhigh

This is one of the best “how it started” vs. “how it’s going” tweets I’ve seen in the NFT arena. Twitter user Daggerhigh appears to have begun collecting and trading NFTs. NFTs Truly Changed Lives when he flipped his way up to being a billionaire after only a few months of battling to achieve more than $100,000 in returns. Talk about money that can change your life.

ProbCause

ProbCause is a multi-talented artist who has made a name for himself as a rapper for years. Prob, who has worn several creative hats throughout his career, was able to totally pay off his student loans by selling NFTs, a feat he credits to his Skullies project.

Timpers

Timpers, a well-known pixel artist, relates a story that many NFT artists may relate to. He found a warm welcome in the community as he began his NFT career, working endlessly on commissions. He sold a lot of NFTs and became well-known enough to be asked to contribute to a limited-edition Bored Ape x Rolling Stone collab zine.

GxngYxng

GxngYxng is the brains behind the well-known NFT project Ghxsts. He left his secure animation job with no backup plan and struggled to get his project off the ground at first. However, as evidenced by the present Ghxsts trading volume, GY is doing quite well, earning $2 million from a single NFT sell.

Jake Osmun (Jake Osmun)

Jake Osmun, also known as JakeTheDegen in the NFT sector. NFTs Truly Changed Lives when he landed one of the most remarkable transactions of the whole 2021 NFT bullrun. He was able to quit his job and go full steam ahead as a crypto artist after winning a Twitter shill contest in which he traded Punk4156 an excellent photo of Kanye West, for CryptoPunk #5514, after garnering notoriety as a live-music photographer over the years.

Betty

Betty had minimal exposure to NFTs before she and her husband founded Deadfellaz, apart from being married to crypto artist PSYCH. Nonetheless, as the matriarch and founder of the now-famous zombie NFT project, she has witnessed the NFT community irrevocably impact her life.

Spancs

Loopify’s wide reach throughout the NFT community is demonstrated once again by Spancs’ life-changing sale. Due to a single trade of an NFT from Loopify’s Timeless project, the 19-year-old 3D designer made more than $40,000 and was able to pay off all of his academic debt.

Pollak, Izzy

Like many other early supporters of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, Pollak made a significant amount of ETH by flipping an Ape. He not only made a lot of money from his 71 ETH sale (almost $302,000 at press time), but he also used the money to buy a property!

Fung, Stephy

Early in the year, Fung was able to do what many in the NFT community had wished for: she was able to quit her work and live entirely on NFT funds! Her tale is similar to that of many others in the NFT community who have been able to attain financial independence by making a few — or even one — large-scale deals.
